Bugaboo Pushchairs: Strollers With Style
Bugaboo pushchairs are known for their practicality and fine detail. These were originally designed by two Dutch men, simply to create a stroller that was not only functional, but also durable and comfortable. Manufacturers weren’t interested in what these two men had to offer, so they began to make and market these pushchairs on their own. Today the Bugaboo name is renowned for greatness. As we continue writing this article, we are going to tell you more about these wonderful strollers.
The three different styles are the Bee, the Frog, and the Cameleon. Each model has a higher price tag than the next, due to the additions made. These three models are available in a variety of colors and some even come in fashionable designs, due to collaboration with famous clothing artists. Purchasing any of the following strollers can be conveniently done online.
The Bee:
Colors this pushchair is available in are yellow, blue, pink, red, dark khaki, and black. This newer version is priced lower than the other two models, making it more affordable for parents who are just starting out. There are four seat positions available with this model of stroller and it folds up to a size of 35 by 17 by 12 inches. Both the front and back wheels are 6 inches round and filled with foam. The front wheels are the only two that swivel, but there is 4-wheel independent suspension.
The Frog:
This pushchair comes in a choice of red, orange, sand, navy blue, or black. The two-piece design allows for it to switch between being a stroller and being used as a carrier. There are three positions the seat can be adjusted for. This stroller gets its name from the frog-like suspension found on it. There are two 12 inch wheels in the back and two 6 inch wheels on the front. When it is folded up, the dimensions are approximately 37 by 24 by 12 inches. Weighing less then 18 pounds, this stroller is manageable by just about anyone.
The Cameleon:
The main body comes in orange, black, blue, dark brown, dark blue, off white, pink, red, or sand. There is the option to make the color of the base red, dark blue, orange, dark brown, dark grey, or sand. This provides some variation in the overall color scheme. The seat reclines to three different positions and the suspension is adjustable. There are two large wheels at the back of the stroller, measuring 12 inches each and two 6-inch swivel wheels in the front. This 20 pound stroller folds up to measure 35 by 24 by 12 inches, approximately.
Each of these Bugaboo pushchairs has a storage area beneath the seat. The Bee can hold up to 4.7 gallons, the Frog holds 4.2 gallons, and the Chameleon holds 6.3 gallons. The Frog and the Bee are both designed for city, travel, car, and can compact for easier storage. The Chameleon was created for more rough terrain, although it will perform fantastically in the city as well. The two-wheel position is ideal for the snow and sandy beaches. These pushchairs prove that comfort and functionality can go hand in hand.
